The render posted by the tipster showed the upper half of the smartphone from the front and back. And there are some interesting changes that we could see. But tipster ‘Onleaks’ has entered the year 2020 already by posting the first image showing the company’s next flagship smartphone, tipped as OnePlus 8.
OnePlus has just unveiled its OnePlus 7T a few days ago and the rumors are strong for the OnePlus 7T Pro. From the image, one can right away see the smartphone’s front side with an even less bezel on top than what’s seen in OnePlus 7 Pro. Although this is a render, the final product may vary a bit. Also seen is that the screen curves from both sides. It’s not as curved as Vivo Nex 3’s ‘Waterfall’ display though.
However, the biggest change here is that the screen has no notch. But don’t get your hopes high as you still get a punch-hole display. The smartphone is seen with a punch-hole camera on the top left side, something we have already seen in several mid-range smartphones this year. OnePlus 8 has the same OnePlus 7 Pro’s rear camera design.
The handset is seen with three rear cameras enclosed in a capsule design with LED flash and company logo below them. That’s interesting because that makes OnePlus 7T the odd one out from the natural upgrade cycle. So if you were thinking that future OnePlus smartphones will have the same circular rear camera design as OnePlus 7T, it might not be the case after all.

In addition to this, one can still see the alert slider and the power button on the right side and the volume button on the left in OnePlus 8. Nonetheless, this is still a rendered image and the first look at OnePlus 8 expects some changes in the final product when it arrives in the first half of 2020.
